We strive to be the most knowledgeable and specialized financial advisor to serve Accenture Executives.
You know what it takes to deliver a successful project. You need the right resources with the right knowledge. Consider me the specialist you call in to bring your project home.
I know the challenges with Accenture compensation, especially for Managing Directors who can go cash flow negative after their L4 promotion.

We founded Adventure Wealth Advisors to help others discover their unique adventures, but we also did so to continue ours! Don’t be surprised when we spend a summer in Italy or a winter in Patagonia, but we’ll always be available to you as needed.

Dan Meyers, CEO
My wife and I love adventure, and we have been fortunate to set ourselves up with the opportunity to seek it regularly.
After working in the corporate world for more than a decade, me in consulting, and my wife as a broadcast journalist, we decided we were ready to pursue a different lifestyle – one more conducive to family, flexibility, and adventure.
We love to get off the beaten path, whether in our travels across the globe or in our backyard in the red rocks of Utah.
Our path is unique, and it would not have been possible without the experiences gained in our former careers. Therefore, I credit a lot, both professionally and personally, to Accenture, my first employer.
I certainly didn’t read the description closely enough when I applied for an analyst position at Accenture; I figured it was a finance position and would be copacetic with my degree in finance and minor in economics. However, after several rounds of interviews, I was sold on Accenture despite having nothing to do with finance.
In my first years, I was like a sponge soaking in as much as possible from my Accenture colleagues and mentors. They boosted my confidence and taught me how to succeed in business. I was with Accenture for seven years before moving from Dallas, TX, to New Orleans, LA, and joining one of my previous clients, Hewlett Packard, where I went on to lead the Global Partner Portal team.
After four years in New Orleans, I secured an unpaid leave from Hewlett Packard so my wife and I could fulfill our dreams of traveling the world. So, in 2013, we set out on a flight from LAX to French Polynesia and began our journey around the globe. In just under a year, we immersed ourselves in the unique culture and beauty of at least 25 countries. It was, without a doubt, life-changing.
We returned to Dallas, Texas, and our respective careers with a greater perspective and a new understanding of people and places. Three more years in the corporate world, and we officially retired early in 2016 at 35.
After traveling the world, we wanted to see the continent we call home. So we renovated a 1966 Airstream and set out across North America. While on the road, we learned about the red rock canyons of southeastern Utah and fell in love with the opportunities to explore this vast landscape. It was enough to draw us to eventually settle down in the small town of Bluff, Utah – a far cry from the city life we once knew.
Soon after, I would start Adventure Wealth Advisors, LLC.
I started this company because I wanted to help others secure financial independence, enabling them to pursue whatever they are passionate about. I decided to focus on Accenture Execs to reconnect with the “family” I left behind at Accenture. Today, I love helping former colleagues and new friends navigate complicated compensation and maximize benefits.
You’ll find me outdoors when I’m not working, mostly hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, or occasionally kayaking. In my free time, I organize the local arts festival, teach yoga, respond to emergency calls as a volunteer firefighter, and help however I can in our close-knit community.
We welcomed our first child in 2020 and our second in 2022 – so I can say with certainty that every day is a new adventure, and what we once considered “adventurous” is changing.
